REFLECTION 

As hard as it is, I decided back in August to take the year off from coaching, work on my Master's Degree course load, and enhance a few areas in my personal life.  I had opportunities at four different high schools with good basketball programs in the GHSA to be an Assistant, but I turned them down.  I don't regret it at all.  It is New Year's Eve, less than an hour away from 2013, and this time away from the game has been nothing but great.

People need to find time to just take a break from their hectic schedules/ lives to just catch their breaths, relax, reflect, and regroup before they get back into the "grind."  I can't wait to get back into coaching in the fall, but I'm not complaining by any means.
